Ninja have been velociready since thousands of years ago. They have developed a high chance to escape and survive a velociraptor attack, and they have a mastery of weapons to defend themselves.

OTOH a velociraptor is a velociraptor, and a ninja is only human. A ninja has the upper hand when fighting velociraptors from a distance, since he has throwing weapons and stuff. But once the velociraptor gets close enough… bye bye ninja.
